15 DEC 2016: CHRISTMAS LUNCH
On 15th December the Club held its traditional Christmas lunch at the Hotel Baia, Cascais, with special guest HMA Mrs Kirsty Hayes who is also the President of the Club.
Members and guests enjoyed a convivial traditional British Christmas lunch with roast turkey and trimmings prepared by the Hotel Baia staff including Christmas pudding, brandy butter and Stilton cheese.
This rounded off the Club's year of events and Chairman Philip Portal thanked everyone for attending, wishing everyone a good Christmas and looked forward to seeing members and guests in 2017. He presented a gift to Pat Rodrigues who has served as Club Secretary for twenty years.
